FAQ
Where is Back 2 Back Gymnastics Club?
We are based at Unit 4, Walton Industrial Estate, Beacon Road, Stone, ST15 0NN.
What classes do you offer?
We offer pre-school classes for children aged 2-4 years. These classes incorporate music and fun into structured sessions based around balance, strength and co-ordination. We also focus on listening, following instructions and working together as a group. These are independent classes but if your child is nervous, we do allow parents / carers into the gym to offer support if required.
We also offer parent / carer toddler sessions for children who need a bit more emotional support during sessions from someone close to them. The format is similar to the pre-school classes, but an adult can remain with them as they complete the activities throughout the session.
Recreational classes are offered to children between the ages of 4-16. Classes are arranged within age groups, and we cater for beginners as well as those who have done gymnastics before.
Additional group sessions are offered to children that have demonstrated exceptional talent or commitment to learning. These sessions provide additional coaching and training time throughout the week. Spaces in these groups, as well as our Display Team, are limited and therefore a selection process is in place for these sessions.
Adult classes are held once a week and are open to everyone regardless of ability and previous experience. These classes are a lot of fun and a great way to exercise whilst having fun!
How much are the sessions?
Weekly 1 hour classes are priced as follows: Pre-School @ £38.00 pcm and Recreational @ £38.00 pcm.
The monthly payments are pro-rated over a 12-month period and continual payment is required to secure class places. All payments are made by direct debit through the Glofox system. Payments are collected monthly with no contract or tie in period.
We close for 2 weeks at Christmas, and Easter and for 4 weeks during August.
Payment is made on an individual basis, and we do not offer sibling discounts.
Refunds are not issued for missed classes and due to our class size policy, we do not offer alternative classes if a child is unable to attend their scheduled class.
Fees for Non-Recreational Groups who attend for multiple hours per week are calculated on a group-by-group basis.
How do I complete a booking?
All bookings are completed over the phone. Please call 07432 658649 for more details.
How do I cancel my membership and how much notice to I need to give?
No notice is required to cancel membership. However, it would be appreciated if you could contact us via email to let us know that you will be cancelling to enable us to check that the membership is closed correctly on the booking App, Glofox, and further payments are not requested.
What does my child wear for their gymnastics class?
Leggings/shorts and T-shirt/vest top or Leotards can be worn for gymnastics classes.
We ask that hair is tied back neatly and all jewellery removed before entering the gym for health and safety purposes.
We do have a club leotard which can be purchased but this is not a requirement until your child reaches competition level. Order forms can be found on the Club kit page.
Additional club kit can be purchased directly from Tailored branding.
Please see the links on the Homepage.
Do you offer free taster sessions?
We are committed to providing high quality classes to all our members and we believe that one way of achieving this is to ensure that our members receive the attention they require to progress. We limit our classes to 8 children per coach and as many of our classes are full it can be difficult to offer taster sessions.
Are you affiliated to British Gymnastics?
We are affiliated to British Gymnastics and all our coaches either hold British Gymnastics coaching qualifications or are in the process of achieving them through accredited courses.
All members are required to obtain a British Gymnastics Membership when they join. Membership offers several benefits including a comprehensive insurance scheme and wealth of information to help them progress in their gymnastics.
Our premises and equipment have been deemed by British Gymnastics to be of a high standard and we are proud to hire out the premises for British Gymnastics Coaching courses.

What facilities do you have?
The gym was designed with the assistance of Gymnova and brand-new equipment was installed in November 2017. Our equipment includes a sprung floor, beams, bars, vaults and a tumble track as well as additional developmental aids.
We are constantly adding to the equipment to ensure that we offer the best possible facility to our members.
We, as parents ourselves, felt that it was important to offer parents and carers the opportunity to view classes so incorporated a mezzanine viewing gallery giving a view of the gym as well as a café area to enjoy refreshments.
Parties
We are delighted to be able to offer Birthday Parties at Back 2 Back Gymnastics to both members and non-members. Please see the link on our Homepage for more information.
