Adele received a gymnastics scholarship to study at Wrekin College where she was able to combine her educational studies with her gymnastics training schedule whilst being coached by Christine and Colin Still.

Adele completed the British Gymnastics Grading system and qualified to compete at the Junior British Championships.  During her time at Wrekin College she also competed in California

Ceri Cox

Ceri started gymnastics at a small club in Sutton Coldfield 6 before moving to the City of Birmingham Gymnastics Club when she was 7. At the age of 10 Ceri moved to train at Lilleshall with Christine Still at Park-Wrekin Gymnastics Club where she competed and placed at various regional and national competitions.

Ceri represented the West Midlands region from the age of 9 and won the West Midlands Regional Championship age 11. She also qualified to compete at the Junior British Championships and was a member of the silver medal team at the 1991 British Team Championships.

Ceri was also a member of the Welsh Gymnastics Squad and was selected to compete for Wales in 1993. Ceri was injured at the Welsh National Championships the following year which led to her retirement when she was 15 years old.

Ceri then took up Sports Aerobics where she placed second and third in the Junior British Championships in the trio events for two consecutive years before winning the Senior British pairs title whilst studying at Cardiff University in 1997.

Rebecca Lewis

Rebecca started her gymnastics career at North Staffs Gymnastics Club. Whilst at North Staffs, she represented the West Midlands at the ‘Weetabix Young Gymnast of the Year’ in 1991.

At 13, Rebecca moved to Park-Wrekin Gym Club to train with Chris and Colin Still. In 1991, she placed in the top 5 at the Junior British Championships and earned her first opportunity to represent the Great Britain Junior Team.

As a senior, Rebecca was 2nd at the 1993 English Championships, and 5th at the British championships, with qualifications to the apparatus finals. Rebecca also represented Great Britain in a number of senior internationals, including the Bosphorus Cup in Turkey. Other success included being a member of the silver medal winning team at the British Team Championships in 1991.

Following her successful national and international career at Park-Wrekin, Rebecca won a scholarship to UWIC (University of Wales, Institute Cardiff) to train with Mitch Fenner, with the hope of representing Great Britain at the World Student Games. Sadly, a serious injury ended her international career, although she did continue to represent UWIC who won for two consecutive years.

After graduating from university, Rebecca moved to London to establish a successful career as a Personal Trainer.

In recent months, Rebecca has found a passion for triathlons and is hoping to put her competitiveness to use once again to qualify for some World championships next year.
