Covid-19 Health and Safety Regulations at Back2Back

We continue to follow all government health and safety guidelines to ensure that we can all stay safe. Our current health and safety regulations are detailed below.

  • Drop off and collection arrangements

We are happy to welcome parents and carers back into the gym to observe sessions once again.

Entry will be through the front door, and you will be able to watch from the viewing gallery. We ask that you leave by the main entrance at the conclusion of the session and collect children outside from the exit by the roller shutter where they will be let out by a coach.

Only gymnasts and coaches are permitted to enter the gym area.

Please do not ask your child to leave the gym through the main entrance at the conclusion of the session as this can cause congestion and poses a serious safeguarding risk.

  • Track and trace system

If we are made aware of any child receiving a positive Covid test, we will contact all children who have been in their group via email so you can commence testing within your household.

We would also ask that you inform us if your child or anyone in your household has tested positive for the coronavirus and that you do not attend the gym if you have any Covid-19 symptoms.

  • Prevention measures

Water bottles are permitted, but must be clearly labelled and left at the front of the gym to ensure that they don’t get mixed up with other gymnast’s drinks resulting in potential cross contamination

  • We politely ask that gymnasts come to the gym already dressed to take part in their session to avoid unnecessary contact with items belonging to other children. It would be preferable if they could wear sandals / flip flops or footwear that can be put on independently if at all possible.
